Lorna Thompson – Chiropractor
I decided to study Chiropractic after having treatment from the age of 13 for
lower back issues.
My chiropractor, and the amazing results I experienced, inspired me to go into the career myself, enabling me to be able to share how beneficial chiropractic can be to others.
I graduated from The Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2006 and am a
member of both the British Chiropractic Association and General
Chiropractic Council. I have been working here at Living Health since 2007.
My time here, and my 17 years experience, means I have a strong
reputation in Grantham and most of my referrals come from
recommendations by previous and current patients who have benefitted
greatly from my care.
I use a lot of soft tissue techniques as well as joint manipulation in my
treatments and also focus strongly on prescribing patients with stretching &
strengthening exercises to assist in their care and to also help prevent
reoccurrences.
As a migraine sufferer myself I particularly enjoy helping patients
who struggle with migraines and headaches arising from the neck.
Outside of work I am married to Al and I’m a cat mum to Lexi and Stray
Charles (long story). I enjoy reading, travelling, the paranormal and
changing my hair colour.
